01Event Objective: To test participants’ Prompt Engineering skills using Google Gemini by creating a professional lecturer-style PowerPoint presentation and converting it into an engaging teaching video within a strict 15-minute time limit.
02Eligibility: Open to all engineering students. Individual participation only (1 person per team).
03Duration & Format: Live Round: 15 minutes total (strictly enforced). Participants will be given one common topic (announced on the spot by the judge) OR can choose from a pre-listed set of 5 topics. Entire task must be completed live using only Google Gemini (gemini.google.com).
04Task: Create a Lecturer PPT using Gemini (via Canvas / prompt-to-slides feature). Minimum 8 slides (Title + 6 content + Thank You / References). Must look professional, educational, and lecturer-ready. Convert the PPT into a Teaching Video using Gemini’s built-in features or Google Vids (video must explain the topic like a real lecturer).
05Final output: One video file (MP4 format, maximum 5 minutes duration).
06Time Break-up (recommended): 0–10 min: Prompt engineering + PPT creation in Gemini; 10–14 min: Convert PPT → Video + narration; 14–15 min: Export & submit.
07Tools Allowed (Strict Rule): Only Google Gemini (free version). No other AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Gamma, etc. are NOT allowed). Laptop + stable internet is mandatory. Pre-made templates or files are NOT allowed.
08Submission Rules: At the end of 15 minutes, participants must submit: Final Video file (MP4).
09Judging Criteria: Quality of Prompts (Engineering), PPT Design & Content Quality, Video Quality & Teaching Style, Time Management & Completion, Innovation & Originality.
